What is AlwaysOn Control and how does it work?
AlwaysOn Control is a web-based application that empowers you as the leader to be your own operator. You can view your call, name participant lines, mute and unmute and it gives you the ultimate power-user experience.
What are the touch tone commands during a conference for Always On?
• *0 for an operator
• *1 to dial out
• *2 to record
• *6 to Mute and Unmute a line
• *7 to Lock and Unlock the conference
• 81# to Mute all but the leader
• 80# to Unmute all but the leader

How do I record my AlwaysOn call?As the conference leader you simply press *2 on your telephone, follow the prompts and an announcement will be played stating the call is now being recorded. This feature is only available for the call leader.
How do I change my AlwaysOn account settings?There are many ways to change your AlwaysOn account settings. You can click on the embedded link in your AlwaysOn confirmation email to change your settings via the Web, you may log in to Client Corner and update your AlwaysOn profile there, or you may call 1-800-925-8000 to speak to one of our Customer Service Representatives.
How do I request an mp3 file of my AlwaysOn call recording?Contact Customer Service at 1-800-925-8000 to request this information. Remember that the call leader has to activate the call recording by pressing *2 at the time of the conference.
What do I do if my AlwaysOn passcode doesn't work?If your passcode does not work, you will be answered by an operator. The operator will retrieve your line when you time out in the automated entry vestibule and be able to assist you.
Will my AlwaysOn account ever be turned off?Yes. For security purposes, we deactivate AlwaysOn accounts if they go unused for one year.
How do I reactivate my AlwaysOn account?You will receive an email notification that your account has been deactivated. If you would like to have it reactivated, just respond to the email or call us at 1-800-925-8000.
How do I create a participant list of my AlwaysOn call?Use your AlwaysOn Control Application to edit port numbers to reflect the names of your participants. Once you have done this, you can print a participant list. The list must be printed before hanging up.
Is Operator assistance available through AlwaysOn?Yes. Press *0 for an operator.
I need to mute lines – how do I do it?If you need to mute just your line, you can press *6 on your telephone and it will toggle mute and unmute for your line. As the leader of the conference, you may mute all lines except yours by pressing 81#. Pressing 80# unmutes all of the lines. AlwaysOn Control allows you to mute individual lines as well through the web interface.
How do I lock the conference so no one else can join?*7 invokes Conference America’s Privacy Lock product. With this feature no one including the operator can enter your call.
